Drôle sans plus (6/10) CINOCHE

Un film drôle, mais étant donné que je me suis endormie avant la fin... Je ne dirais pas que c'est un de mes préférés non plus ! Je me souviens bien de la scène du cours de yoga, car j'ai bien ri. Je planifie de revoir ce film et au complet pour lui faire justice, alors restez à l'affût et dites-moi si je dois le revoir !

Just funny (6/10)

A funny movie, but... well I fell asleep before the end so... I wouldn't say it was one of my favs either! I remember the yoga class, I laughed at that scene! I'm planning to watch it again, so I could give him justice, so stay tune! And tell me if I should rewatch it!

Julie et Julia / Julie & Julia

J'aurais pu en regarder bien plus longtemps des aventures de ces deux femmes incroyables, et je parle autant de Julie & Julia que de Meryl Streep et Amy Adams. Julie s'est trouvée un grand projet et j'ai été impressionnée par sa détermination frôlant la folie. Inspirant !

Timeless (8/10)

I can't get enough of those two amazing women, and I'm talking about Julie & Julia and Meryl Streep and Amy Adams at the same time. Julie has one major project and I'm impressed by her crazy determination. Inspiring!

Le monde romantique de l’édition (7/10) Cinoche

J'ai simplement adoré, je n'ai pas envie de décortiquer le film, de me demander si ça arriverait dans la vraie vie, si c'est trop à l'eau de rose, ou si la petite ville est trop caricaturée. J'aime les films d'amour où je n'ai pas à me casser la tête, je passe simplement un bon moment et c'était le cas. J'ai ri et j'ai été ému, voilà. Et la traductrice en moi qui aurait rêvé de travailler dans le monde de l’édition, avant de comprendre qu’il fallait s’entretuer pour se tailler une place, reste charmée par ceux qui me permettent de replonger dans ce rêve.

The romantic world of publishing (7/10)

I simply loved it! I don’t want to dissect the movie, to ask myself if it would really happen in real life, if it’s too cute, if this little town in Alaska is too cartoonish. I love romantic comedies where I don’t need to think, where I can just have a good time. And it was the case. I laughed and I was touched, that’s it. And the translator in me, who would have loved to work in the publishing world, before I understood that you needed to kill one another to have a good job, is still enchanted by stories that let me dive into this dream again.

Laisse tomber, il te mérite pas / He's Just Not That Into You

Distribution de stars (7/10) CINOCHE

Ce film est basé sur un le genre de livre que j'adore lire (même si je n'ai pas lu celui-là). Je pensais aller regarder le film de l'année avec cette distribution de superstars, mais j'ai été déçue... Quelque chose manquait. Mais je vous conseille de le regarder quand même. Jennifer Aniston et Ben Affleck forment un beau couple!

It's a movie based on the kind of book I just adore (but I didn't read this one), I just thought: Hey, let's watch the movie of the year, just look at the actors! But I've been disappointed... Something was definitely missing. But I'm telling you: Look at it!!! Jennifer Aniston & Ben Affleck are so cute together!

Meurtres à la St-Valentin / My Bloody Valentine

Début trompeur (8/10) CINOCHE

Eh bien ! Dire que j'avais peur de le voir ! Ce n'est pas Massacre à la tronçonneuse ! C'est plutôt un film d'horreur qui n'a rien de trop effrayant et je l'ai bien aimé comme ça. Avec les trois acteurs principaux, je me devais de le regarder et j'en suis bien contente. Par contre, le début démontre toute autre chose... il est bien plus atroce ! Et complètement loin de l'histoire aussi. J'avais l'impression de revoir Cœurs sanglants ! Je ne dis pas que le sang disparaît après non plus, c’est juste un excellent film d’horreur, à mon avis.

A misleading beginning (8/10)

Ok... and I was afraid of watching it! That's certainly not Texas Chainsaw Massacre! It's more like a horror movie that's not that horrifying and I liked it like that. With those three principal actors, I had to watch it and I'm happy I've done so. Beware, the beginning shows something else... It had way more gore! And it has nothing to do with the rest of the story. It was like watching Heartstopper all over again. I am not saying there is no gore after, but that it’s just an excellent horror movie in my opinion.
