Entre les deux groupes, alors que sa carrière n’allait nulle part, elle était dépressive. Elle a commencé à prendre de l’ecstasy durant les weekends. Puis, ça a été tout le temps. Ensuite est venu le crystal meth, dont elle était accro à 24 ans. Elle pesait 90lb et était malheureuse en amour. Elle a fait croire qu’elle était boulimique. À 25 ans, elle a réaménagé chez sa mère quand elle a réalisé qu’elle ne savait plus qui elle était. Elle était poursuivie par ses créanciers, elle n’avait plus d’argent. Elle a passé 2 semaines chez un ex-petit-ami qui l’a aidé à vaincre sa dépendance. Son anneau au sourcil est un cadeau qu’elle s’est offerte lorsqu’elle a abandonné le crystal meth pour de bon. Elle a déjà eu un revolver pointé sur sa tête pendant que son ex achetait du pot dans le quartier est de L.A. Elle avoue aussi avoir eu des relations lesbiennes durant cette période et avoir perdu le compte de ses amants/amantes.

She joined the group Black Eyed Peas in 2003, of which she is now the singer. During a concert, she urinated in her pants because she didn’t have time to go to the bathroom between two songs! She discovered sex at 18 and it gave her incredible strength!

She had to gain 10 pounds (in fact, she gained 12!) for Nine.

Between the two groups, while her career was going nowhere, she was depressed. She started taking ecstasy during the weekends. Then, it was all the time. Then came crystal meth, to which she was addicted at 24 years old. She weighed 90lb and was unhappy in love. She made it seem like she was bulimic. At 25, she moved back with her mother when she realized she no longer knew who she was. She was being sued by her creditors, and she had no more money. She spent 2 weeks with an ex-boyfriend who helped her overcome her addiction. Her eyebrow piercing is a gift she gave herself when she abandoned crystal meth for good. She had a revolver pointed at her head while her ex was buying pot in the eastern neighborhood of L.A. She also admits to having lesbian relationships during this period, and to having lost the account of her lovers.
