Elle se dit passionnée mais peureuse. Elle déteste la pollution et la maltraitance envers les animaux. Elle se lève à 4h pour courir. Elle a allaité sa fille Violet jusqu’à 18 mois. Elle n’a pas osé laissée Ben seul avec Violet avant qu’elle ait 10 mois ! Elle fait son épicerie à la même que la cuisinière connue Giada de Laurentiis, pour la croiser, elle a tous ses livres !

En 2001, elle a reçu le Golden Globe de la Meilleure Actrice télé pour Alias. Elle a reçu le prix de la Révélation Féminine aux MTV Movie Awards 2003 pour Daredevil.

Elle recevait 24 000$ par épisode pour Significant Other et 30 000$ par épisode pour Time of Your Life.

Elle faisait ses propres cascades dans Alias. Pour Elektra, elle devait être prête à se faire coiffer et maquiller à 5 h 30. Elle avoue avoir aimé embrasser Natassia Malthe dans Elektra mais les femmes ne l’attirent pas sexuellement parlant. Elle s’est entraînée 3h par jour durant 6 semaines pour être prête pour ce rôle.

Elle possède la compagnie de productions Vandalia Films.

Elle a fait Cyrano de Bergerac à Broadway en 2007.

Enfant, elle pratiquait assidûment la danse classique et le ballet. Elle dansait le ballet dans un petit théâtre communautaire en Virginie-Occidentale, où elle a grandi.

Elle est une très mauvaise menteuse, elle n’a donc jamais menti à ses parents et elle ne peut garder un secret ! Ses parents étaient ultra conservateurs et il était défendu de porter maquillage et bikini avant ses 16 ans. Elle a eu son premier baiser à 18 ans avec un garçon nommé Matt Crittenden, qui a essayé d’aller plus loin, mais elle l’a repoussé et il l’a largué le lendemain.

She claims to be passionate but fearful. She hates pollution and animal abuse. She gets up at 4 AM to run. She breastfed her daughter Violet until 18 months. She didn’t dare to leave Ben alone with Violet before she was 10 months old! She does her grocery shopping at the same place as the well-known chef Giada from Laurentiis; to run into her, she has all her books!

She did her own stunts in Alias. For Elektra, she had to be ready to have her hair and makeup done at 5:30 AM. She admits that she liked kissing Natassia Malthe in Elektra but women do not attract her sexually. She trained 3 hours a day for 6 weeks to be ready for this role.

She owns the production company Vandalia Films.
